The Proposal

After reviewing the material in our “Opportunity Catalogue” we trust that there may be a number of areas where you believe that your Manufacturers Representative Organization can successful merchandise our product line(s). We would like to ensure that we can effectively and efficiently make the relationship between our organizations profitable right from the start.

We think that the best way to begin the process of “Partnering” is to listen to you and to hear your proposals for how you can maximize the potential for your organization and how you might like to “represent our products”. Some of our opportunities will deliver a better yield for you than others, and some may be items you might defer to a later time in our relationship.

Therefore, we suggest that you send us a two-page proposal that introduces your organization, sets out in summary form the nature, size and character of your organization and which products you feel you will best be able to succeed with. Tell us the areas (Territories) that you are comfortable working as a start up situation. The Proposal can be accompanied by any Resumes of your Principals and any References you feel would be useful in furthering our discussions.

 

The Application

Once your Proposal is received we will quickly review your ideas and get back to you with an Application and a Draft Agreement for Representation. This will allow us to discuss the best way to proceed, how to best support you, what training programs will be needed and how we can best get you off to a fast start. These documents will cover the administrative matters that are necessary to ensure that business is quick, effective and profitable. We will discuss pricing, order placement, inventory & shipment matters, billing, customer service, warranty management, and all the other areas needed to make our relationship successful.

 

Contracts

Our contracts are simple and cover all aspects of the relationship. We want to make things work and our legal processes are designed to be easy & effective. We look to motivate your organization and not to get in the way … therefore we keep the contracts short & simple.

 

Training & Support
  
We are both in the “Selling Business” and therefore we believe in both support and motivation. We have over 80 years of successful selling and distribution building in over 40 countries. We supply professional sales & product personnel to train your staff. Depending on the products selected, this training can take place at our facilities or with you in your sales organization. Our in-store support materials and support to your customers is part of our expertise. We are totally customer focused and we know the Manufacturers Representative is most often the voice of the customer.

 

Motivation Programs

Our Motivation Programs focus on Rewards & Recognition. These include monthly, quarterly and annual contests; recognition programs that include merchandise & travel rewards, Distributor Conventions & meetings that may include clients and spouses. We sponsor “top end” rewards including Caribbean private yacht vacations for you, your significant others and often your top producers.
